Chartered Chino for a full day offshore. Fishing was slow, only one football yellowfin. Started trolling, no action, but then the captain was called into a school of spinner dolphin with tuna mixed in. Dolphin were putting on a show, but tuna were finicky. After 2 1/2 hours with only the one tuna, we went back to trolling, but no luck. That’s fishing. Ad for the boat said it had a fighting chair, but it did not.

The crew was great
Hooked and landed 180lb marlin. Hooked sailfish and mahi-mahi as well. Captain Jose knows these waters and how to catch these fish. Boat is awesome and mate Jorge is top notch

Fun day out with Jose (Chino) and first mate Alex. The bite was slow across the fleet. Landed one sail and trolled for a few hours without a bite. Switched to bottom fishing and brought home a few varieties for dinner. Plenty of food and drinks and fun conversation.
