We went out on a 4 hr in-shore charter trip on the Carolina Girl and it was an amazing experience.  I have been fishing on charters for a number of years at the OBX and would highly recommend this crew.  The first mate was awesome and the captain got us right on the fish.  We caught a number of blues and 2 large Spanish Mackerel.  It was the first trip for my son and nephew and the mate couldn’t have been better with them and made the trip a memorable one.  They are already talking about the next trip they will take on the Carolina Girl.

We had a blast with Captain Troy and First Mate Jim. Theses guys know what they are doing and they are darn good at it. I don’t think you’ll find a harder working First Mate than Jim. He gets in a zone and just gets it done. Fun to watch. Highly impressed with everything. Boat, equipment and just everything. Would love to go out with them again. Thank you guys very much!!

Captain Troy and mate Jim were great. Very knowledgeable and even though we didn’t catch a lot of fish due to having to stay in the sound because the waves were too high in the ocean, we had a great time and everyone enjoyed themselves!

The boat and equipment are top notch, All of us had a very nice time and enjoyed being out on the Gulf. This was one of those days that you can do everything right but the tuna just refused to bite so we caught very few fish and no tuna, this is the only reason for the 3 star rating. None of the other charter boats seemed to not be doing very well either. Captain Troy and Jim do deserve a 5 star as they did everything they new to try and get us fish, even extending our trip time. Thanks Troy for all the the effort you put in, I would book another trip on his boat again.

Very good Capt. and mate. Did a great job although fishing conditions were not the best. Worked hard to put us on fish all day.We did catch fish to take home.
We were given some extra time to catch a few more fish.Was great working with older fishermen of the group. FishingBooker needs to provide more trip information and make sure it’s correct. Our trip said it included cleaning and filleting of catch. This is not true, a service is available at the dock for additional fee.
