Our group had such a fun morning on the water with Ethan!  We caught many fish and even had a few drum filets for dinner. We would definitely go with Ethan again!

Was storming real bad just before trip and thought we would have to cancel, but the storm broke right before we departed and we had an awesome morning of fishing.

We took a morning half day trip with Ethan.  We had a great time and caught our limit on blue fish.  Could have caught more, but there are silly rules against that now😕.  All in all we had a great time and great conversation on our trip.  We will Definitely go fishing with him again!

Fishing aside - Ethan is an all around great guy, very enjoyable to be around which makes the trip all the better. His local knowledge and experience paid off, as we were faced with some interesting weather and wind direction for July. He took us to a secret little spot and we cashed in with some large red drum.

This trip was for my husband, who is not a huge fan of the beach and has never been deep-sea/inshore/ocean fishing, and only occasionally picks up a rod here in the mountains where we are from, but after this fishing trip he was so stoked.  Ethan and his Dad, who was the first mate, were so nice and accommodating to us landlubbers, who had really never fished before.  My husband was so excited, he’s still talking about it and telling people a week later about his experience.  Ethan found the fish quick and kept us on them the entire morning.  My husband and I caught blues within 5 minutes of stopping the boat, and then we were on amberjack and sea bass, and my husband even got to fight and pull in a barracuda and a shark.  It was a great trip and both Ethan and his Dad were knowledgeable and friendly.  We would highly recommend taking a trip with them- you will have such a good time!  Thanks again Ethan and let your Dad know we said thanks to him too!  Good luck with your PhD!
