I would highly recommend this charter for anyone looking to have a great day fishing!  We were celebrating my friend’s 40th bday and were a group of 4. Our captain Joe and first mate Ben were extremely communicative and helped with everything throughout the day from showing us the ropes of fishing, helping with the bait, and fileting the fish which we were able to grill that night.  The boat was the perfect size.  I wouldn’t have changed anything about our day fishing.  We also caught a good amount of fish!  Highly would recommend this for anyone looking for a fun day fishing!

Stanford Fishing Charters was a great company to go with. We had Captain Joseph and his first mate Chris who were wonderful. Although they probably do this all day everyday, they were still excited and enthusiastic about the experience and making it the best trip for us. We started in the reef and caught about 15 Black Sea Bass and 5 good sized porgy’s. We then trolled for Stripers but probably was too early in the season to get them. They were fun, accommodating, friendly, and great guides altogether. Would recommend this company.

Captain Joe and Jeff made sure we had a great experience. We caught a ton, learned new skills, and saw a variety of fish that the crew where able to educate us on. 100% a great time with a stellar crew: they made excellent company on this trip. Would definitely recommend, I know I will be returning!

Rewarding experience thanks to our Captain and First Mate. We caught a variety of fish and kept the best ones to throw on the grill. Learned a lot about the fish we caught and marine fishing techniques. As first-timers, we received a ton of support and tips from the crew, making it a truly enjoyable experience.

We had an amazing time out striper fishing.  Went in the middle of the day, had the whole sound to ourselves and caught 6 monster stripers.  Released 5, one was hooked kind of bad, so we kept and ate that one.  I’d never been striper fishing in my life, and had an absolute amazing time.  Thanks to Joe and Ben.
