I live and have been fishing the east coast of the US for more than 40 years including charter boats and by far First Mate Darcy and Captain Noah are some of the hardest working crew I have ever fished with. If you want an overpriced boat ride dragging bait across the ocean then this is not your boat. If you want to catch a variety of fish with a great team of Captain and First Mate then this is your boat. The experience and knowledge they both have is unmatched and they are more than willing to share. It felt like fishing with longtime friends. I look forward to coming back to CR to fish with them both.

Darcy and Noah were very welcoming and quickly asked us what we wanted to do. They lay the options very clear of doing some reef fishing or deep sea. My goal was to run into some yellowfin tunas or perhaps some Marlin, which I really wanted to catch. The told glue they have found the tuna the days before so the call was made to hit the tunas and see what else was out there.
We sure found the fish and while the bite was slow, which it’s fishing can happened, they work very very hard to put us on fish.
We trolled and cast and jig and we ended up catching yellowfin tuna which was awesome and then we got surprised by a big bull mahi mahi.
Nothing wrong with that!!
We got some fresh pineapple to eat, as fresh as it gets from Costa Rica ( pineapple capital of the world), and we got plenty of drinks.
We also got to enjoy hundreds of dolphins, turtles and mantas on our way out chasing fish!

Overall fantastic trip and super cool crew!

If you book with them you will not regret it!

I went fishing with Noah and Darcy in March and had one of the best experiences of my (long!) life.  We were surrounded by spotted dolphins, saw devil rays jumping out of the water and then, quite remarkably, found ourselves in the middle of a dozen or so feeding manta rays. So we took in the fishing lines and went snorkelling with these extraordinary creatures (and with the dolphin, stingrays and mahi-mahi that were also feeding on the baitfish).  Oh yes - and we also caught lots of fish later in the day.  Obviously that’s an experience you can’t book, but what you can be sure of is that Darcy and Noah will do everything to maximise whatever wildlife experiences come your way.  Unlike many of the boats in Tamarindo they’re English-speaking (Darcy’s Canadian) which really helps.  Book these guys!

My family of three, including a 4 year old, had an amazing time fishing with Darcy and Noah. We caught a ton of fish. Tuna, Red snapper, grouper, and several other species. I lost track of how many fish we landed, but our arms were getting sore! The boat was very clean, well maintained, and comfortable. Darcy and Noah were professional and on-point, working hard to put us on the fish. However, they were also very chill and enjoyable to be around. We jigged and also trowled at various depths, and went way off shore to various structure that was holding fish. 10/10 would recommend fishing with Sea Breeze.

Much better than our last fishing expedition in Big Island, Hawaii! Noah and Fabian were super helpful with my super-eager but still very inexperienced kids ages 14 and 11. Really enjoyed our sashimi of white tuna! Absolutely delicious - and I lived in Japan for 4 years. Tip - do not pay the outrageous parking prices directly next to the meeting spot - we parked across the street for free about 125 meters away. And avoid eating lunch anywhere near the food trucks - again expensive (being in the heart of Tamarindo). Bottom line - this is the fishing trip that my kids have long since dreamed about!!!
